Gem State Comic Con

Convention Policies

We are a kid-friendly and family-friendly event, and we want to make sure everyone has a good time and enjoys the con in a friendly and safe environment.

Attendees must respect common sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for personal space and private property.

  • No harassing, bullying or any other kind of offensive behavior - we are really serious about it!

  • Respect other people’s personal space and ask permission before photographing, touching, or in any way making contact with anyone else.

  • No smoking or vaping.

  • No alcohol.

  • Photographs and/or video will be taken at the event. By taking part in this event you grant Gem State Comic Con full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for publicity. On COVID-19:

Gem State Comic Con takes COVID-19 as a very serious matter together with our attendees, special guests, vendors, and exhibitors. Gem State Comic Con believes in the safety of all involved in every facet of conventions. Working with the respective local and state governments along with CDC advisors, Gem State Comic Con will be taking precautions for all involved. During the event the venue will undergo an in-house sanitation program by the GSCC Staff/Volunteers for the security of the events. Down below are the actions that will be taken for the event:

  1. All special guest, vendor, exhibitor chairs and tables will be sanitized day before convention opening.

  2. Hand sanitizer will be provided to all special guests, vendors, and exhibitors for the duration of the convention.

  3. Handrails and door handles throughout the venue will be sanitized with a special sanitation treatment every hour by staff to make sure handrails and door handles are always clean.

  4. The attendance will be limited to 2,000 people.

Gem State Comic Con request all special guests, vendors, and exhibitors to sanitize all equipment, including pens, pencils, and any other equipment that will be inside the venue. If the above mentioned is feeling sick we ask them to please contact Gem State Comic Con 48 hours in advance and relinquish their table for the 2020 season.

Attendees are responsible for their own actions, and Gem State Comic Con requests that if any attendee or vendor is feeling sick 24 hours before a convention please stay home. All tickets and tables will be honored the following year.

We ask everyone to stay clean, healthy, practice good hygiene, come out to the conventions, have a great time with friends and family.
