GEM STATE COMIC CON THE PINNACLE OF IDAHO POP CULTURE:
May 17 - 18, 2025, was the largest Gem State Comic Con to date, with over 50,000 in attendance. Gem State Comic Con, over six years, has cultivated a pop culture community centered on local artists and vendors, with an Idaho culture feel that combines Americana and pop culture through films, comic books, video games, and more. Celebrity guests come from all over the world to experience the beautiful Idaho locations, and hometown feel hospitality. Gem State Comic Con is known with actors from all over the world to be a fresh relaxed experience while meeting fans locally, and also from around the world as people from all four corners of the planet comes to Gem State Comic Con to get an experience you can not find anywhere else in the world in pop cuture.
SPECIAL GUESTS 2025:
Special Guests who come to Gem State Comic Con to meet and greet with fans find themselves surrounded by fans who are thankful for being able to meet their favorite actors, artists, and cosplayers. Like attendees, Gem State Comic Con special guests come from all over the world, from England, Canada, Taiwan, Australia, China, Mexico, Scotland, and Wales. 2025 was no different, as Gem State Comic Con in 2025 was the best year for pop culture and promises to bring more in the future. 2025 SPECIAL GUESTS included Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy & Gilmore Girls), Scott Patterson (Gilmore Girls & SAW), Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter Film Series), Ray Park (Star Wars Episode I & Solo: A Star Wars Story), Brian O''Halloran (Clerks I, II, & III), and Marilyn Ghigliotti (Clerks I & III).
ANIMATION, VIDEO GAME, & ANIME SPECIAL GUESTS
Gem State Comic Con is a multi-genre event where all things pop culture are celebrated. 2025 was one of the best with a rare appearance by voice actor Jon St. John (Duke Nukem & Sonic the Hedgehog). We also saw an amazing Dragonball series reunion with voice-over actors Elise Baughman (Dragonball GT), Rick Robertson (Dragonball Z), and Derek Stephen Prince (Dragonball Z & Bleach).
ARTIST SPECIAL GUESTS:
The backbone of a comic con is the comic book artists and animators who give us fans amazing characters like Spider-Man, Godzilla, and many others. Gem State Comic Con in 2025 brought childhood legends like Tom Cook (Super Friends & Godzilla Animated Series), and returning favorites, Luis Rivera (Team Colossus), James Pascoe (Batman), Cliff Cramp (Star Wars Illustrator), Floydman Sumner (Garbage Pail Kids), Kip Rasmussen (Lord of the Rings Illustrator), Tobe Daranouvong (Team Colossus Origins), and Warren Montgomery (Team Colossus) to Gem State Comic Con where fans could receive free autographs and requested sketches.
COSPLAY SPECIAL GUESTS:
Gem State Comic Con is a big supporter of cosplay groups and individuals. We take great pride in our work bringing the cosplay groups and individuals to the forefront of entertainment. 2025, the cosplay guests surpassed all previous years with some great professional cosplayers like DC Doll (Cosplayer), MiraculousJaimie (Cosplayer), and Universal Cosplays (Cosplayer).

Gem State Comic Con in 2025 celebrated its sixth year of celebrating pop culture and every year it gets larger with entertainment from celebrity panels, Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and other prize winning tournaments, sword & shield making, furry ear making, larping, manga library, food trucks, and so much more. Gem State Comic Con is proud to bring Idaho the best in pop culture entertainment focused on local community.
